Bara Caws will be presenting Bwystfilod (Monsters) to pupils in 3 Conwy schools this July. It’s an innovative, entertaining version of local legends with dramatic narration, a moveable set, puppets, music and much much more. Pupils will be invited to sing, dance, applaud, boo, scream, laugh, hiss – a great way to enjoy the end of term!
Ysgol Tudno's Coffee Morning

Over 40 pupils took part in Ysgol Tudno’s coffee morning last Tuesday, June 13th. The performers played a variety of music from classical to recent chart hits and even Abba on Guitars, Flutes and Violins (thanks to Mr Gary Jones, Ms Tina Sherratt & Mr Rob Leyshon). It was great to share the results of their learning with parents and a good time was had by all. We hope the Year 2 pupils listening will be inspired to start lessons with the Conwy Music Service teachers in September and start preparing for Christmas!

What a wonderful Cânsing Day 2017! 20 schools from Conwy and North Wales brought 800 pupils together to celebrate singing with the help of Welsh National Opera. The day was the biggest of all Cânsing’s events this June and the highlight for us was the Humming Chorus from Madame Butterfly – WNO’s version is touring across Wales this year.
