Tan y Marian’s Superheroes

After a drama project with Pigtown Theatre Company Ysgol Tan y Marian and the surrounding area is jam-packed with superheroes.
Year 3 superheroes used their drama skills and worked together as a powerful team to defeat the monster that had captured their teachers! The monster (year 5 pupils) was a shape-shifting beast which used a variety of sounds and sound effects as its primary weapons.
Year 6 read us their work about real people they had nominated as superheroes including Ghandi, Mother Teresa, Nelson Mandela and Neil Armstrong.
Year 4’s superheroes were closer to home. Poems about mums, dads and brothers and their amazing abilities in the face of the domestic challenges of everyday life.
